Inventory Commitment Preference based on Header Business Unit and Item Group

Hi All,

There is a requirement to default detail B/P on the basis of Header BU and item group. Most of the header BU's will use the same main warehouse for shipping the standard parts but there are cases where parts will be stored on other warehouses for some header BU's as their orders are nearly all shipped from "their" specific warehouse.

I tried to make use of advanced inventory commitment preference 05 but it does not allow to default detail B/P on the basis of header BU.

Has anyone come across a similar scenario?? If yes , please share your inputs.
