Requisition completed after period close

A requisition was created on 26April and completed on 01May. Overnight Transfer to GL, run on 01May has created a P1 journal after P1 has been closed.

The journal is locked against using 'Change Period' (even after unfreeze journal source).

What is the correct action please?
