Deleting mass addition records marked 'POSTED'

Hi   User ran the Delete Mass Additions process on prod without taking advice first.

Result is that  mass addition records marked 'POSTED' were deleted but none for 'SPLIT' or 'DELETE'

I assume that as the records that are deleted were all marked POSTED there is no adverse affect of having deleted them - ie ther will no longer be required in the mass additions table?

Maybe even this is an action that should be done now and again to clear that queue.

Can someone please confirm?
