Form Extension Affecting Grid Sizing

I have started to use the Form Extension feature available in Tools Release 9.2.2.4, and I have found that when used in a grid the grid reverts to the size specified in RDA.

I logged an SR with support and was told that this may be functioning as designed.  I disagree.  In all other JDE grids, the vertical size will expand to match the size of the screen being displayed upon.

The result of this "design" is that I see a very short grid with a scroll bar instead of a larger grid taking advantage of the entire screen.

The workaround given is to use a personal form to change the height of the grid.  I tried this, but again the size of the grid is fixed, so that what displays well on one screen may not fit on another screen.
