Is there a maximum length allowed for the APPS APPLSYS APPS_NE password

It was my understanding in 11.5.10.2 the APPS/APPLSYS password could not be any longer than 29 characters. We are now running 12.2.5, going to 12.2.7 soon, and would like to make the APPS, APPSLSYS and APPS_NE passwords meet our 30 character requirement. If you could let me know the max length, it will be greatly appreciated.
