Cross Docking functionality for Direct ship orders

Dear team,

Could you please advise on below.

We are using direct ship order with inventory interface Y  to update stock in our warehouse after that we do ship confirmation by manually attaching the lot number to the sales order .

This manual process leading to mistakes so we want to use cross docking functionality for SD/OD order with line type S ..

if i enable cross docking at item branch and if i setup Supply/ demand rules only for SD/OD With Line type S it is working as expected.

Could you please confirm is there any other impact because of these setups or any other order types impact with these setups.
