import payment application line items for summary bp

Is it possible to import the pay application line items for a summary type pay application?  We are researching using this type of pay application.   We can do this for our other pay applications.  When we set up integration, we do get a line item template, but it is blank.  In our other pay application types, the current SOV information is filled in.
