I am working at a customer where there is consternation over defining an employee as male or female. We are on 12.2.5 and when I attempt to leave the sex as unknown, oracle will not allow this is an option. Does anyone know of a way we could leave this field blank or leave the default as unknown when entering an employee record? This issue generated a lot of discussion with the client and it has become an issue. Does anyone have a solution? I'm not an HR consultant and we are only using shared HR.
