IP2017 3rd party load balancers

We are on 8.1.1.11 and our production has 5 Siebel Web Servers and the traffic managed via F5 load balancer. Now, when we upgrade to ip2017 and the 5 AI's (Siebel Web Servers)  can be manage traffic with F5 load balancer??

Can SMC hold 5 AI's (Siebel Web Servers)  ???
