EX_DATA_LOAD - AMEX GL1205 Replacement card (R1) functionality

The delivered EX_DATA_LOAD process adds a new ACTIVE row to the CC_CARD_DATA_EX record for cards with a status of "R1" in the GL1205 file.  I spoke with AMEX last week about how they go about passing the old/replaced card number in the GL1205 file in order to ensure the old/replaced card gets set to INACTIVE on the CC_CARD_DATA_EX record, AMEX stated that the old/replaced card number is not passed in any future file.  They have stated that "when a card is replaced the new account number is all that will appear on the GL1205 file.  There are 2 ways to
