SL8500 robots bending rail in library

My customer, the data center architect, called asking if I knew of any cases of the robots in an SL8500 library causing the rails to bend. After searching through the knowledgebase I am unable to undercover any such evidence. I have a call into the local FSE to see if he has every repaired a bent rail.

The DC manager further explained that the alleged bending came from an internal customer who wants to replace the SL8500 with three expansion frames with multiple racks of spinning disk. No other justification was given. Maybe just money burning a hole in his pocket or trying to make a statement the "Tape is Dead".
