Rerouting a batch

Hi,

We need to reroute a batch where the current batch has been created with

1.Formula V1,Routing V1,Recipe V1(Validity Rule)

And another Recipe validity rule has been created as

2.Formula V2,Routing V2,Recipe V2(Validity Rule)

So can the batch created with the first mentioned rules with all versions 1 now reroute to the new validity rule with all versions 2

But we have already tried with different formula of different recipe versions but reroute only shows different routing and different recipe versions it does not shows the different formula version.

So is it the intended functionality that it can show different version in terms of Routing and recipe and not formula.
