Database Mirroring for Disaster Recovery HFM with SQL Server

I would like to know if there are any customers who are replicating data to a disaster recovery locations using the SQL Server Database Platform. I'm researching different ways this can be accomplished. We had originally setup up a mirroring solution to a DR facility but after upgrading to a newer version of HFM, the performance is not as good when mirroring is enabled. I would like to see if anyone has suggestions on other possible ways we can replicate data over to the DR site.
