How to pass a random value to a report via Parameter

Hi All,

I need to create a BI publisher report.

The report has parameter called Debt service which is a value based on a report which is in paper (From a different system). (This value is not available in the current data source) . This parameter is a text box and user enters the data.

User pass this value to the Report via a parameter called, Enter the current year debt service amount.

And the entered value (Value of the parameter) is subtracted from the Total Profit to get the profit after the debt.

Can you please help.
