Oracle Linux 7 Networking

Hello Everyone,

I just installed an Oracle Linux 7.2 on Lenovo System x3650 M5. The installation went successfully without errors. However, after the first reboot as required by the installation, I cannot communicate with network. I cannot ping even the default gateway of the network with '"Network unreachable" error. I checked the "ifconfig-eno1" and I found it to be OK. Ön boot=Yes and the entries for the DNS,Gateway, and IP Address are all ok.

Still, I cannot ping any other Host on the network. On the Network Settings, I found eno1 is not connected, or eno1 is off. I tried to toggle it to on but it will slide back to off after some time. The firewall is set to disable and SELINUX is set to permissive. Please advise me on what to do or what settings to set or modify what configuration file to make networking available. Thanks in advance.

Howdy, Stranger!
