Redo Log default size in database 12.2 enterprise

Hi every one

I installed oracle database enterprise edition 12.2 on solaris 11.3 and redhat linux 7.3 and found that the default redo log files size are 200M, as I know the oracle old version the default redo log size is 50M. I found in the oracle document mentioned that

"

Your operating system–specific Oracle documentation. The default size of redo

log files is operating system dependent.

"

which is mean OS will affect the default size. My question: As a default size now is 200M and there are 3 files groups, the vendor recommend to have a 5 redo log groups and they assume that the default size is 50M, shall I resize the files or keep it as its ?
