Participant Person Type Missing on Newly Eligible Employee
We find the following happening on occasion over the last few years. I probably need to open an SR but it only happens on less than 40 people a year so I haven't done that yet.
I was curious to see if any one else has had a person become newly eligible for a benefits program in EBS R12.1 RUP10 and they choose not to make any elections so they are given all default plans and the life event closes. Some people are not then give the person type of Participant. Most of our newly eligible employees are given the Participant person type to start on the date that coverage begins and many of our employees choose not to enroll so we do have people that are given just the default plans and they are given
