Is there any way to incorporate Master Routings as Alternate Routings in PDM?

Use of Master Routings as the M routing Type works great; however, we have a business case where we can see Alternate Routings for items within a Branch could also be a "master routing". Is there any way to set-up E1 to do this without a mod?
