Does flexible accounting work when the business unit length is four characters?

Hello MOSC,

Does flexible accounting work when the business unit length is four digits? The length of our business units is either four or eight digits.

I am trying to flex the business unit for DMAAI 4220.

I tried to use other four-digit fields in the F4211; for example, a four-digit ship-to number (SHAN). The sales update ignored the flexible accounting rule and used the business unit from the header of the sales order.

Then I revised flexible accounting to create two segments. The first segment uses the F4211 subledger (eight digits) which is blank. The second segment uses the ship-to number SHAN which is always four digits.

Howdy, Stranger!
