Journals automatically created for closed period - how?
Background
We have a problem on 11.5.10 which I wanted to check with people here.
On April 3rd, some Purchasing Receiving Journals were created, containing a mix of Actual and Encumbrance lines.
When the Journal Import job ran on 3rd April, the 2018 Encumbrance Year had not been opened yet, so the Journal Import job completed with Warning and the Encumbrance Lines had this status:
EP03 (This date is not within any period in an open encumbrance year.)
The Actual Lines had a P status since they were okay.
Workaround
To fix this, I did this last night:
