RAC on GPFS

I am not sure if this issue is suitable to post here. Here is the problem

I have an Oracle RAC 12.2 on AIX 2 node, where the database data are stored on GPFS file systems. And now I am going to test the node eviction when heartbeat is down.

However, here is the situation. when heartbeat is down. CRS stack of node 2 is down (which is expected, as Oracle will choose lowest node to eviction). But on node one. suppose it takes up the VIP/SCAN IP etc..I found the GPFS was DOWN on

node 1. The results is the running database instance also down on node 1 as it can't read/write the gpfs mount point.

Howdy, Stranger!
