Same account for Intercompany Receivables (Asset) and Intercompany Payables (Liability)

Hello Community.  We are on R12.1.3 and would like to use the same natural account (liability) for intercompany receivables and payables when setting up AGIS.  Oracle will let you assign the same account although there is a warning message about selecting the same account.  Is anyone aware of possible issues that this may cause?
