Loan items in FA module
Hi,
we need to manage loan items in Fixed Asset modules in EBS R12 release.
Items given in loan has to be tracked in FA module; but the items are inventory item, not capex item. Therefore they should move asset accounts, not inventory ones.
Questions:
1) how assets can be created if related items are inventory items? (FA Mass Addition program doesn't pick up AP invoices related to inventory items)
2) how accounting can be managed ?
Which is the standard process in Oracle R12 to manage these items ?
