When Coping large BOMs, we timeout in 9.2,9.1

When we copy complex BOMs to a Branch Plant we are timing out on certain codes.  Other than turning the BOM Validator off and extended the time, is there any other fix so we do not timeout?  We use this application daily so going into the validator constantly is starting to get tedious.
