Loading Member Formula Editor Issue in Planning 11.1.2.3.700

We recently upgraded Hyperion Planning from 11.1.2.3.500 to 11.1.2.3.700.  We now have an issue where we can't open the member formula editor tab in Planning.  I did some research and found some discussions where people had this issue in 11.1.2.4 and there was a patch issued to fix it.  Checked with Oracle and apparently there is no patch for 11.1.2.3.  I opened an SR but the only workaround they gave me was to use Firefox 31 esr which I tried but still have the same issue.  I see there was also a workaround to use SmartView to load outline updates
