Terminate contract line from Order Management without expiring Installed Base

Hi,

We have a business scenario where customer is upgrading the service. So we want to Terminate Service Contract line and Add a new line in the same contract.

From Order Management we can append to the same contract. It possible to Terminate Service Contract line but keep the status of the Installed base as created?

If so please provide the steps.
