Hi,

 

Not matter I start with "root" or "oracle", set or unset ORACLE_SID and ORACLE_HOME, with -localonly and -debug, I got the following error:

 

lib.dbconnection:573: runsqlqueryheader:(['select INSTANCE_NAME from gv$instance', '*', 'ERROR at line 1:', 'ORA-01034: ORACLE not available'], [''], True)

 

So never have a single successful run actually, I'm running Oracle 10g R2 with RHEL 5.5, should I download a older version of ORAchk?? (but found to where for previous version)

 

Kindly provide some insight, Thanks a lot.
