How to use advanced pricing for service contract to default the price list price at the sublines

What are the set ups we have to do for using advanced pricing for service contract to default the price list price at the sublines and for what UOM we have to create the pricelist because we have two UOM one is quantiy based as Each and other time based like Month,I had tryed both but it is coming as zero
