re- install oracle binary with datafiles intact

hi,

I have to re- install Oracle binary as the mount point are corrupted and we don't have any backup.

the datafiles are still intact. I intent to perform the following, wonder whether is it sufficient?

- install 11.2.0.1 oracle binary (software only) on a difference mount- point.

- re-create the initxx.ora  and

     -state the location of the intact datafiles, redo log, control

     - state the sid

- edit/ check the oratab

- startup the db
