Can we apply database patch before running cleanup phase?

Hi everyone,

We are on RDBMS 11.2.0.4 with EBS R12.2.5 and I have application patch and DB patches to apply.

I'd like to know if I can apply application patch using adop from prepare phase to cutover phase with mtrestart=no, then shutdown the database to apply DB patches and then start DB and app before running the adop cleanup phase?
