Create new cost method using specifc cost types

We have a request from one of our companies to create a new cost method using a specific group of cost types (components).

Is there a way to do this using R30835 Frozen Update or would it be better to calculate the amounts and load the new cost method from F4105Z1 table? Don't want to mess with standard cost at all just add a new method for this.
