200GB Log drives showing up as data drives

tried to install 2 200GB Log drives in a DE2-24P - ZS3-2 standalone controller with 1 HBA running 2013.06.05.4.2,1-1.1 - followed documentation instructions.

system complained that both drives are data drives - did I get burned? return to seller? or is there a way to 'convert' from data to logzilla?
