Make to order configuration

Hi,

Want to understand how MTO process work esp in terms of auto packing and shipping in oracle.

I understand we raise sales order and can generate concurrent work order to make the product. For us this will be about labelling and packing it.

What’s the next step in oracle?

We want labelling product, packing it in carton, generating labels for cartons (if there are more than one product in carton need the option of printing both labels with lot number), all to either run in parallel or simultaneously. Is it possible?

I don’t want to lose time by first labelling product, closing work order and sending notification to CSR so CSR can create auto pack and then based on auto pack information we put the items in carton. How can we minimize the time loss?
