Doc ID 2356270.1 has these instructions:

(3.2)    Setting Log level

Navigate to ses\applicationcontainer\webapps\ folder
Change the log4j.appender.file.Level=ALL in the gateway.properties file
Change the log4j.appender.file.Level=ALL in the configagent.properties file
Restart applicationcontainer(Tomcat) by running shutdown.bat/shutdown.sh and startup.bat/startup.sh under ses\applicationcontainer\bin folder.

My question:

Step 3.2 does not explain what the expected results of setting these parameters. It appears that the expect result of step 3.1, generating a snapshot file, would be the result expected, but, why then is this not part of the document referenced in 3.1 (i.e.
