New OL7.4 VMs on OracleVM don't get a network interface

Dear OL and OVM fans,

I have a problem giving new VMs a network interface. Installing OL 7.4 in a new VM yields only a lo0 interface, no eth0. Situation is as follows:

* OVMMgr 3.4.4 with two physical OVM servers

* both eth0+1 of both servers bonded (LACP, 802.3ad) into bond0

* on top of them, three VLAN interfaces defined

  1=Mgmt, Cluster Heartbeat & Migration

  2=Storage

  3=dedicated to the VMs' internal/external communication

* a valid MAC address range

I create the VM afresh in my server pool (shared/clustered repository) and after assigning vdisk (/devxvda) and vCDROM, I can boot from the virtual DVD and can successfully install OL 7.4 (with UEK). Already in the installer and after first boot from the vdisk, there's no network interface!

Howdy, Stranger!
