Storage migration of san boot disk on rpool.

How rpool disk can be migrated to different SAN boot disk on solaris 11.3, What is the recommended way? is it required reboot.

I  have M12-2 server and as part of storage migration i have mirrored exisiting san disk on rpool with new disk . What is the recommended way to detach the existing SAN disk after re silvering . This query is only about rpool migration. How new disk boot path can be added. install boot block  is required? There is no slice 0 on zpool status rpool ?
