install without partitions

Dear OL and OracleVM fans,

does anybody know how to install Oracle Linux 7.4 or 7.5 from fresh into an Oracle VM by not partitioning your virtual disks?

We're planning to install a lot of VMs for Oracle 11gR2 within OracleVM 3.4.4. Virtualization and separate vDisks for / and /u01 (and whatever else) would completely obviate partitioning as a concept, all the more since mounted partitions cannot be enlarged during normal operations of the VM. But that is exactly what we need: enlarging / or /u01 while it's mounted and without rebooting the VM and its critical applications.

The installer appears to not allow installing OL without partitioning

Howdy, Stranger!
