SEPA supplier payment file format is not accepted by bank anymore

Our client in Germany have just had a banking software upgrade and consequently the SEPA upload program version is no longer compatible. Apparently, the existing SEPA file format is version 1.0 and it needs to be at least version 2.5 (latest version is 3.2). Is there any ESU for the SEPA file format update for supplier payments?
