avdf 12.2.0.7 / av agent on windows as a service

Anyone out there on AVDF 12.2 BP 7 that has been able to start a audit vault agent as a service on windows?

Seems like that ability has been removed from the product post BP7, I have a ticket open  with support but I thought I'd try to reach out to the community to see if anyone has a workaround. Leaving a session open to a windows box with the agent running seems like the only way to run the agent right now and that's not a good solution for a agent because if that connection drops the agent goes down. Probably not good from a security standpoint as well.
