oracle 12 has a listener entry in tnsnames file

I noticed in Oracle 12 there is a listener entry in the tnsnames.ora file, was this created by Oracle as part of the database creation?, the database is running as a container database

Can this entry be removed?, I have noticed this on two oracle 12 database servers
