Which BI do i need?

Hello Community!

I'm totally new to BI. It seems like there is a standalone BI and one inside OBIEE. We don't have OBIEE installed. Looked at the standalone one, all it seemed to do is create PDFs. Please help direct me to some information on the differences between the two and documents for setting up the standalone version.
