Please enter the required value for the Company segment in the company flexfield

Dear Members,

Please, we need assistance in the following issue.

We are creating an inventory organization and after completing the Mandatory field and save the message below pop up.

This happens when we use Average Costing Method with Cost Rate type as weighted. When we change the Costing Method to Standards it saves.

We are currently using Average Costing Method with Cost Rate type as weighted so when we now try changing the Standard Costing Method to Average Costing Method the Costing Information for Valuation Accounts is Mandatory and that is saved when the Expense Account field is populated.

We want the Expense Account field to be blank and when trying to save with the field blank the error message appears: Please enter the required value for the Company segment in the company flexfield as indicated in the screen shots below.
