Alternate Routing Functionaltity

Hello,

Can anyone help me to understand the Alternate Routing Functionality in JDE. How does it works.

I am having a below scenario:-

ItemA is processed on 2 different Work Center WC1 & WC2. We have defined this in Master Routings.

Same ItemA could also be processed on Manual Work Centers WCX & WCY, the same is defined in the Master Routings with Oper Type as A-Alternate.

Below is the actual screenshot:-

Now, my query is, planner will decide at the time of Work Order creation whether to complete Order on actual Work Centers WC1 & WC2 or on Alternate Work Center WCX & WCY (Defined as Alternate Routing)
