Depreciation Expense + Accounting Flexfield: required segments

If we have 6 segments in the Accounting Flexfield and they are all required.

Is it possible to enter just one segment "Account"? Well ofcourse not.

But I am looking at one of the FA CORP Books and they were able to set just one Account Segment for the code combination.

This is for all Asset Categories.

So I am wondering how they must have done that?

Did they make all the segments except the Account segment "Not Required" in the Accounting Flexfield, then populate the Accounts for the Corp Book with just one segment that is the Account segment and then go back to GL and make all these 6 segments required again?
