How to turn off/stop PO_EMAIL_PO type notifications?

Is there a setting or configuration that can be revised to turn off PO_EMAIL_PO type notifications for iSupplier?  We are seeing a large volume of these type of notifications created in version 12.2.7 that we do not want created due to the performance issues we are experiencing due to them.
