Scheduled AP concurrent requests?

New to my organization and there are AP-AUTO roles setup to run a variety of EBS Request Concurrent programs. I've been able to identify the Concur Program Name, Concur Program and Argument Text being submitted. as well as when they run. The next layer of the onion is to put in simple-speak what is occurring when the program runs and be able to explain significance of the parameters being passed. Eventually I would like to leverage these auto-processes, once they are clearly defined. I'll get there wonder if anyone else struggles with understanding their "automated" AP processes?
