Order line Backordered from Transact MO window but status stuck in 'Released to Warehouse' with Move

On Transact Move Order form an order line was partially allocated and transacted.

The remaining qty should have been backordered as expected.

However when we check the line for remaining qty on Shipping Transactions form the status remains stuck in "Released to Warehouse" and the Move Order Number still shows on that line as shown in below screenshot.

When we attempt to query the Move Order on Transact window it says no allocations exist for this Move Order line as shown below

We cannot Backorder this line either and below error is received when we attempt to do so.
