Warehousing and LPN's

Looking for some thoughts and suggestions on the best way to use and setup license plates in our environment.

We have large single boxes (eaches) we want a scannable label on each that says if scanned what the item is in each box. Would we consider this to be a child license plate? Or would it just be considered a item carton label? Then we want to be able to store say 6 boxes/eaches, on a pallet. Would that then be a parent license plate? Or can every box/each be considered loose and we find a way to print a label that identifies each box and then put the quantity on a license plate? We want to be able
