Account Metrics-Accts w/out Opportunity

Is there a way to get a listing of all the Accounts that do not have an Opportunity(Quote)  associated with them?

Seven years ago we loaded our very large account file.  They would now like to remove all the accounts that do not have an opportunity associated with them.

I tried doing a report using the account metrics but it shows # of quotes.  And there is a metric to show # accounts with quotes (opportunities) but not without.

I tried to select # quotes is null, equal 0 but those give no results. 

Can someone help me?
