We have an item currently mastered as under full lot control yet is in inventory without a lot numbe

Somehow a user mastered a part without lot control, then received/delivered it into inventory (with no lot number). Later he was able to change the lot attribute to full lot control. I thought you couldn't do that when stock is on hand? So now we're in a catch 22. Can't change lot control when stock is on hand but can't remove from inventory because Oracle wants a lot number.

Any ideas how to fix?
